Just when I thought that things were going relatively well......I seemed to have fallen prey to a fast moving Mack Truck.......which in turn runs over me, and leaves me lying helpless in the middle of CD 315 land. After talking with Mrs. McComas yesterday, "we" decided that my question was probably a little on the broad side. Therefore, with a little help and some encouragement.......the question has changed yet one more time. I don't think I can afford to change it again......
*How can I justify the monetary expense involved in buying an Augmentative Communication Device?
Now, I am not sure if this is worded the right way or not. I am definitely open to some help with this one. I am still thinking about my foundation questions, and deciding if they should be changed and how.

As I was writing my foundation questions, I decided that maybe I should re-word it a little bit. I wanted it to flow more smoothly. I think I found a better way to state my question. My new essential question is:
*How do Augmentative Communication devices improve a patient's quality of life?
I am more than open to suggestions for my question. I am trying not to make my question too broad. If anyone thinks the old question was better, TELL ME (please)!

2. What is the purpose of Augmentative Communication?
3. What are the benefits of Augmentative Communication?
4. Who is a candidate for an Augmentative Communication device?
5. What kind of Augmentative Communication devices are available?
*Actually, I was sitting here writing these questions I came up with another way to write my essential question.....it doesn't really change the question, but it makes it flow more smoothly I think.
